1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Cat Trentham Rowing website and the purchase and use of any products or services provided by Cat Trentham Rowing. By purchasing a product or service, booking a session, or using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Cat Trentham Rowing is a sole trader business based in the United Kingdom.

2. Services

Services may include, but are not limited to:

• Custom rowing and fitness coaching programmes
• Indoor rowing coaching
• Technique development sessions
• Strength training support
• Digital training plans
• Educational resources and digital products

All services are provided subject to availability.

3. Eligibility

Custom coaching services are available to individuals aged 13 and over.

Clients under the age of 18 must have the knowledge and consent of a parent or guardian.

For junior athletes receiving custom coaching, login details for any coaching platform should also be accessible to a parent or guardian.

For in-person technique development sessions involving clients under the age of 18, a parent or guardian must remain present throughout the session.

4. Payments

All services must be paid for in advance.

Monthly coaching subscriptions renew automatically on a recurring basis until cancelled.

Subscription payments are collected on the agreed billing date each month.

All payments are non-refundable except where required by law.

Failure to make payment may result in suspension or termination of services.

5. Coaching Subscriptions

Custom coaching is provided as an ongoing monthly service. The service includes programme design, coaching support, feedback, and any additional features included within the selected package. Monthly fees cover access to the service during the subscription period and are not dependent on the amount of communication, feedback requests, or sessions completed by the client. Unused coaching time, support, feedback opportunities, or programme reviews cannot be carried forward into future billing periods.

6. Cancelling a Coaching Subscription

Clients may cancel a coaching subscription at any time. Where a client cancels their own subscription through the website or payment platform, a minimum of 72 hours' notice before the next payment date is required. Where a client asks Cat Trentham Rowing to process the cancellation on their behalf, a minimum of 14 days' notice before the next payment date is required. Failure to provide the required notice may result in the next scheduled payment being collected.

7. Pausing a Coaching Subscription

Clients may request to pause a coaching subscription. Requests made directly by the client through the relevant platform must be submitted at least 72 hours before the next payment date. Requests requiring Cat Trentham Rowing to manually process the pause must be submitted in writing at least 14 days before the next payment date. Approval of pause requests remains at the discretion of Cat Trentham Rowing.

 

8. Technique Development Sessions

Technique development sessions are booked for a specific date and time. Sessions may be rescheduled once provided at least 48 hours' notice is given. Rescheduled sessions must be completed within six months of the original booking date. If a session is cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice, or if the client fails to attend, the session will be forfeited and no refund will be issued.

 

9. Digital Products

Digital products include ErgZone training plans and any other downloadable or digital resources sold through the website. Due to the nature of digital products, all sales are final. No refunds will be issued once access has been granted, the product has been delivered, or the download has been made available.

10. Health and Medical Information

Clients are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date information regarding their health, injuries, medical conditions, medications, exercise history, and any other factors that may affect participation in exercise. Clients must inform Cat Trentham Rowing of any changes to their health status that may affect training. Failure to disclose relevant information may affect the suitability and safety of coaching services. Cat Trentham Rowing reserves the right to refuse, modify, suspend, or terminate services where health, safety, or welfare concerns arise.

11. Participation in Exercise

Participation in exercise carries an inherent risk of injury. By participating in any coaching service, training programme, or exercise session, clients acknowledge and accept these risks. Clients participate voluntarily and are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit to undertake exercise. If there is any doubt regarding suitability for exercise, clients should seek advice from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional before participating.

12. No Guarantee of Results

Cat Trentham Rowing does not guarantee specific results, including but not limited to performance improvements, race results, personal bests, body composition changes, weight loss, strength gains, or other measurable outcomes. Results depend on many factors including adherence, effort, recovery, lifestyle, health status, genetics, and individual response to training.

13. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

• Follow instructions provided as part of the coaching service.
• Communicate honestly and promptly.
• Provide accurate information.
• Behave respectfully and professionally.
• Use coaching platforms appropriately.

14. Termination of Services

Cat Trentham Rowing reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate services where a client:

• Provides false or misleading information.
• Fails to comply with safety instructions.
• Behaves in an abusive, threatening, or inappropriate manner.
• Repeatedly breaches these Terms and Conditions.

Termination of services under these circumstances does not create an entitlement to a refund.

15. Intellectual Property

All training plans, coaching materials, written content, videos, resources, website content, and digital products remain the intellectual property of Cat Trentham Rowing unless otherwise stated. Materials may not be copied, distributed, reproduced, shared, resold, or published without prior written permission.

16. Website Content

Every effort is made to ensure the information on this website is accurate and up to date. However, no guarantee is provided regarding completeness, accuracy, or suitability for any particular purpose. Website content is provided for general information only and should not be considered medical advice.

 

17. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes liability where such exclusion would be unlawful. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cat Trentham Rowing shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from the use of the website, products, or services.

18. Privacy

Personal information is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy available on this website.

19. Changes to These Terms
